Access to private gardens is becoming increasingly difficult due to the densification of Swiss cities, but are we willing to share our green spaces with other people, and how can potential conflicts be avoided? My bachelor's project, “Gardens without borders?”, asks what role privacy plays in shared gardens and with whom we are willing to share this space. The approach to answering this question is reflected in an interactive installation that aims to encourage people to consider their own preferences. In a further step, they can exchange ideas to form a network of like-minded people.
